VIPA provides loans to public sector institutions to finance infrastructure projects.

A loan is a sustainable financial instrument which is intended for efficient use of public funds, objective estimation of the need for public projects and return as well as security of continuation of instruments. Loans granted by creditors are planned to be directed towards the implementation of financial instruments of the public sector infrastructure.

Applicants: public sector (municipalities, state and municipal enterprises).

Financial instrument:  loan. Loan conditions – scope, interest rate, duration, deadlines for repayment, etc. are determined on an individual basis.

Means designed to secure financial instruments: subject to the funded sectors and activities VIAP can offer different alternatives to reduce the risk of creditors.

The instrument is aimed at promoting the enlargement of the public sector infrastructure by providing financial instruments to public sector objects. In this way, the deficient funding of the project is secured and private funds are pulled.
